Customers' Reviews: ahmad abed nabi its simply great, the lyrics and the music are totaly cool and well compined in a nice khaliji way,i guess that diana had shown her hidden talents in this album, its simply facinating,go on diana, you are the best. arabiya Being the first Lebanese artist to produce a 100% khaleejy album is very interesting. Probably the influence of the country she is living in and of course her husband. The selection of songs is nice. She masters the khaleejy accent very well. IF you are not a fan of khaleejy music, then this album is surely not for you. I personally enjoyed it. Izabel Well I must say the world is lucky to have Diana Haddad, its unfortunate that the whole world doesn't know that she exists. Her persona, her talent, and unique voice give her what alot of artists today lack, especially in the english market-individuality. I would love to see her break into the english world, and blow everyone away, without giving up her unique-ness! Law Yesaloni, was great, it was a little different from what I thought it would be, but still had her special touch. I must say my favorite of the bunch is Ashwag, it is one those songs you listen to once and you know you love it. I will also add that although this is a good album, her album Akhbar Hilwa, in my opinion was far more appealing to my soul. Its hard for me to choose a favorite, because the whole album is my favorite. Bill Great CD!! Diana is great, but what makes it is the fantastic, traditional instrumentation; especially the percussion! I love it! I'm American; I understand maybe one-out-of-ten words; but I can always get the "feeling". There seems to be a trend to mix the traditional instrumentation with the new. To me, the new is not usually good. In this case, the mix is tasteful and works nicely. I would love to know the words in English; but only for conformation: The music says it all!. Amira A great achievement coming from a great star ! 10 various khaleeji songs : Emarati Saudi Kuwaiti Omani which really proved Diana's great ability to adapt herself very easily to all Arabic styles ! 10 wonderful love songs where the nostalgy is present as a main theme and it's impossible to stay unmoved either by cheering up with Kamakom Ashwag - Hesabtah - Tegool Ma Hebak or by having this deep hurting pain with Leiteni (a song which touches every human being) - Shi Yseer Bel Dunia -Min Baad Oyoonak - Ya Galbi Rtah Or by living the true happy and peacefull love with Lo Yesaloni and Teswa Hal Alam! A lot of beauties and sincere feelings are transmitted by the greatest vocalist Diana Haddad through an exceptional album ! A very original cover which shows the big contrast between this wild view similar to the Channel Sea Coast and the warm contents of the album ! well done Diana ! you have always been an excellent challenger and this time you challenged yourself and you won ! May God Bless you and give you more and more success in your shining carrier. Mohammad My preference in Arabic music has always been Lebanese/Syrian/Palestinian. They have distinctive sounds and are not as rythmic, but more melodic than Egyptian. So, I've been a fan of Dianna until now. The khaleedgy style does not suit her at all, and I bought the C.D. unaware of her transition of music genres. To say the least I was very disappointed. She had a nice roll going; unfortunately, she lost it. Submit your Review |
