This is a voice I would like to put into a bottle and wear around my neck. Youth, vigor and sensuality are woven like a violet thread throughout the tracks on this CD. My only regret is not being able to see videos for any of these songs.

Coming from a Greek background which borrows much from Arabic music, gave me a kind of predisposition for RAI Music but Cheb's music takes me to another realm which I never visited before. I truly was captivated with the full meaning of the word. I can't wait to see whats' next and to find out more about the RAI Movement.

Throught his music, Cheb Mami has a way of taking his listeners through an emotional roller coaster. His crisp voice and almost exotic music definitely do the trick for me. Although I really love his Dellali album (2001),this one hits me like nothing else does!! Wishing him continuous success.

The very first time I heard Cheb Mami was when he did a cut with Sting "Desert Rose". After I heard that I was hooked. Cheb has a way with his voice to make you feel as tho you're in another world. I for one find this CD to be Lively, Fun, Sensual, and Romantic all rolled up into one amazing album.
