Kadim El-Saher is an unpredictable artist. He always strives to present the new and the unfamiliar, only to later set a new precedence in Arabic music. He's not just the singer who looks around for music to sing to, but he's the composer and the innovator himself. He searches within his thoughts and his potential to create exuberantly innovative music. This release is characterized by its variety in styles, as well as its ever new manner of treating a classical Arabic poem (Al Qaseeda). Mala Wa Ehtagab stands out in its authentic old tarab feel, but Kol Am wa Anti Habibati also equally stands out with its unfamiliar overly festive mood. Both are classical Arabic poems, but produced in a manner that makes them sound so different. I grant the album 10/10.

Kazem El Saher is an artist whose voice and music appeal to a diversified spectrum of populations. His music enters the heart directly and nourishes the soul like no other music today. In his voice is sincerity and passion. In his impressions and expression is truthfulness and kindness. In his eyes there's pain and joy, and in his words there are stories and depictions. In his notes unprecedented areas are reached. That's why Kazem is at the helm.. that's why Kazem touched millions... that's why he's an artist in every sense of the word. In Abhathu anki Kazem explored new areas in his music. In Abhathu anki for example Kazem was able to give his listeners the feeling and impression of search. The music sounds so strange, yet appealing. Shukran particularly stands out in its warm music set to melancholic lyrics. In elli yreed el helu Kazem not only showed us his talent in music and singing, but he also showed us his deep talent in writing lyrics. It's an exceptional release, very diversified, certainly a MUST HAVE!.

This CD is probably the best for Kadim yet. He put all kinds of different styles in it. I never expected he would do this great job. I liked the new way he composed the poems and even some Iraqi songs. Kadim you deserve none other than 10 out of 10. I wish there was more to give you. Inayat.

Many will say this album is his best ever, I say no.........His best ever is madrasat el hoob........ As a fan of music, and not an obsessed fan of Kazem, I reserve the right to put fourth an opinion not based on my craze for him. This album is not up to his standard, the music is not innovative at all, in fact the music of most of the songs are simple modifications from other songs he released. Kazem is caught in the stereotype of his own music and is unable to escape from it. The Lahen of Kula Am Wa Anti is terrible, the music is simply not made for the lyrics. The music of Mo Dehketak is almost an exact copy of Idalal 7alaya. And this applies to other songs. It might be time for Kazem to have someone compose for him. The lyrics of the album are the only thing good about it. I know many will not agree with me, but that’s only because they are unable to face the reality of things. To them Kazem only innovate when in act he does not.

This album will surely be a favorite for its diversified collection of songs. I applaud Kadim for always striving to come up with the new, and always climbing higher and higher steps. He never reaches a position that he's comfortable with, and becomes static there. He's always going beyond our expectations. In this album Kadim demonstrated his abilities with fresh new styles of music and powerful touching lyrics and poetry. Only having listened to the album for such a short time, I momentarily choose Kol 3am Wa Anti 7abeebati and Shoukran as preliminary favorites. I am ecstatic with this release, and from the looks of it a great number of people already are, as the video clip of Kol 3am Wa Anti 7abeebati has already topped charts! Great job Kadim, and from best to best-est!.

Let's explore this magnificent album. Ab7athu 3anke is an album of manifestation of brilliant variety and change. Kol Am Waanti Habibate is a brilliant poem written by the renowned Nizar Kabbani to voice protest against conventionalism. Kazem's music hugged the words and meanings and was able to miraculously make the listener feel this protest. His way of saying al-aaaaah in this song is brilliantly new and unprecendented. It's already the talk of people in music circles. Never have we before heard a classic Arabic poem composed with so much protest of ordinary music. Kol Am Waanti Habibate is more than a song. It's like a greeting holiday tribute to a sweetheart. It's poetry recitation, chorus chanting, excitement in music, and premier rate filming all in one.In this album Kazem intends to illustrate the poems without using picture. He is using a harder domain than pictures - he is using music to illustrate moods. In saaltaha for examples, it's the ocean in the beginning and the end that sets the mood and the tones of the music that make you feel the waves of the ocean. In Ab7athu 3anke Kazem illustrated a search atmosphere. I think it's this distinct brilliance and talent that no one but Kazem has that makes him so revered and popular. 10/10 and a bravo in flying colors to Kazem!.

Kazem Al Saher needs no introductions, he's at the helm of brilliance in Arabic music today. This release only testifies further to Kazem's resourcefulness and ability to innovate. Who ever thought that a qaseeda would be set to such active music as he did with Kol Aaam & Anti Habeebati, yet at the same time retain classical choral elements. Only Kazem could do it, and make it so close to the listener's ear that it would be an immediate source of dazzle! Kazem's music is distinct in its ability to engulf the poetry with a fourth dimension. The song Al Zaman, in particular, stood out for the great tones Kazem added in the singing. When he sings about time which has written the story of the end, he was able to relay the meaning of the term END with the way he terminated his tone. I felt that was amazing! The album contains a diversified collection of music and poetry, and I am sure we would never reach a consensus on favorite song, as with all of Kazem's releases.GREAT is an understatement for Kazem's music. CHAPEAU BAS to Kazem, and certainly a full score for the album, 10/10!!.

This album stole my heart as usual. Like many of Kazem’s songs, that capture your heart from the first minute you listen to them. His songs are unique and so as his style. He’s brought back life to Arabic music!! I say good on you Kazem keep up the good work.

Certainly an album to treasure! Kazem Al Saher's wide popularity has had him always falling prey to demands to do more. Kazem has been able to always exceed our demands and expectations. It's easier reaching the top than maintaining this position at the top. This album is proof of Kazem's ability to always keep his place at the top. Variety, art, fresh new music and poetry ideas are all gathered in one album, Abhathou Aanki!.

I first experienced this artist through one of ARK's label releases. I was impressed by his strong vocals and by the degree of tenderness present in his voice. I gathered that Arabic singing is characterized by such high emotional expression, after I started listening to more samples on the net. The music, the manner of articulation, the singing, all sound so strange to my ears. It's a delightful kind of strange. It makes you want to hear more and more. It's a type of music that I've never experienced before. So unique and strange, yet so close to your soul. Since I got my hands on this compact disc, I've been constantly playing it at home. I feel like some of the musical pieces could be used as types of relaxation or meditation music. It's very spiritual it seems. The English translations are helpful, but I had hoped that he'd pronounce his name somewhere within the recording!.

This is a great album comprising authentic Arabic strings, brassy jazz ensembles, sorrowful wind instruments, and a great voice capable of performing the hardest of classical genres and modifying itself to suit the most tender of flowing songs. No wonder Kazem El Saher is the most adored and accomplished Arabic singer and composer of our time!.

The "Abhathu Anki" Album has completely revealed a 'freed' Kadem Al-Saher. Ever since Madrasat alhob Kadem underwent an imprisoned era, especially with Ana wa layla and Habati Wal Matar. Even the cover of the CD is so brightly coloured for the first time in four years. I find the songs in this album easier to listen to, Kul 3aam wa anti habibati is a song with powerful words and a lighthearted tune which is an excellent combination only made possible by Kadem. Ileila Ihsasi Ghareeb really shows a new tune to a new kind of poem. Saaltaha has a tune which really expresses the words much more than if the words are heard alone. Abhathu Anki is an extraordinary song mainly for 2 reasons. Kadem expresses his voice as high notes in such a sudden way in the song, and Kadem was able to sing an arabic classical poem against an electrical guitar.

His album release dates are marked events, his concert dates are marked events, his interviews are marked events. Kazem is not part of events, he simply makes the event. He's the top Arabic artist today, and listening to his music and voice only stand proof of the status he has attained. Ab7atho 3anki is an album which I recommed that everyone add to their collection. It's certainly another excellent Kazem release to cherish. Included are 10 songs equating 10 wonders!.

I am a big fan of Kazem's music but disappointed of this album. My favorite album was "Ana Wa Laila". Many songs on this album sound like the old ones and I am surprised why there are no songs about Jerusalem or the Palestinian suffering. This album is very mixed in style and composition and some people like that. Kazem has changed his style in this album and is trying to become more like the modern arabic singers. I feel that this album does not have that special Kazem Al Saher "taste" , that we all love so much. I hope that Kazem can be more open to other composers and songwriters in the future but at the same time keep his own style and level of music. Kazem Al Saher is and will still be one of the best artists in the arabic music history.

I listened to the music and was carried away, back to the middle east. So many memories came flooding back to me. All thanks to Kazem Al Saher A brilliant voice, sweet as honey yet strong. A voice which is matched by noone I have heard yet. I hope we will hear much more music from this great man. Thankyou for giving me so much pleasure.

I just loved this CD. Kazem always presents his best and that is probably one of the important reasons why he has so much fans all around the world. I loved the new style in "Shoukran". The new version of "Illi yreed el helou" is better than the old one. All the other songs are great. Congratulations Kazem.

This album powerfully illustrates Kazem al saher's extraordinary ability in using his talent, intelligence and his very sensitive side in order to create these songs that are simply excellent in every manner. The uniquness of these songs of this album comes from making us not just listen to them but also feel them in our deep hearts to shake our sensations and leave us with a difference that make us appreciate them. If described, the album is a rich combination of magically powerful words and special music all come to live in the special voice of Kazem. Therefore, he not only deserves our love, but our respesct too!.

Kadim Al Sahir is an artist that's extremely extinct. He possesses impressive talent in three areas: music, singing, poetry. He's unique in his music, he's one of a kind in his voice and he's distinguished with his poetry. Abhathou Ankee is an album that captures the listener softly at first listen, strongly at second listen, and vigorously at third listen. Kadim's music is NEW, not new in that it's the release of a newer year, but no, it's new in the sense of newness and freshness of its inventive authoring. His music is like no other music today, not in the East and not in the West. His music is Kadim-Al-Sahir-ist music. Kolla Aam wa Anti Habibati is brilliantly attractive and energizing, Saaltaha is heart warming and its beautiful melody tugs on one's heart strings, Al Zaman is tender, Shoukrann is outstandingly special yet unusual, Mou Dehktak is sorrowful and touching, Abhathou Anki is chaotic yet orderly in the impression it invokes, Ya zaman is light andrefreshing but carries pain, Mala W Ehtagab is at the summit of originality and full musical engrossment, Eliyreed Elhelou is simple yet daring, and Eleila is pure magic! If you haven't yet added this CD to your all time treasures collection, then get your copy soon. Kadim Al Sahir's music is the type that lives on and defeats time, and our urge to keep going for and ardently requesting the older works is standing proof of that. Kadim's music is eternal and universal in its deep meaning and highly sophisticated composition.
